| My girlfriend grew up halfway between Edwards and NAS China Lake, I have a pretty good idea of what goes on out in the high desert. Although, the F-5, Hunters and Kfirs flown as red air would interest me more than anything, pretty rare to see them here in flyover country. I did get to talk to a Topgun instructor for awhile that brought an F-5 static display to the Rockford, IL airshow, really neat little jets. I usually know it when the Navy or AF has an aircraft mishap, but I don't get that info from the mainstream news. I tell ya what, if Dawn and I ever go back out there, I will certainly try to look you up. | |
