swohio | I have 4700 hrs on mine and can tell it was taken care of. You can tell it bushings are bad by driving down the road and watch to see if front end at pivots are moving some and you can feel it. If tractor has been well taken care of, would not be worried about hrs.. 6788 was next model, same hp, but better shifting setup on right side of seat. If you can find one with less hrs., or a 6788 for the right price, then go that way. If the one your looking at is in great shape and price is right, go for it. My 3788 had 4300 hrs on it when I bought it. It has like new 20.8's radial tires, rebuilt engine, and the torque had been replaced. Payed 7500 for it and painted it and redid cab, AC and some other items. I had some people tell also to buy FWA tractor, but for what I have in this one, at this point very happy. Can't aford some things. | |
