KY | You and me both... I work a full time job (albeit a highly modified shedule) away from the farm.. when time gets short it sometimes becomes equipment or the yard.. and a neat as a pin yard won't make you anything if you've got down equipment. I'd hate for someone to miss a deal because they thought my yard wasn't up to snuff.. but they're welcome to go on down the road where the yard is pretty as a postcard and the equipment, well, you get my drift. Some folks are either scared of grease guns or can't operate them, I've yet to figure which. But if my yard (or whomever's) isn't good enough, please, by all means, shop around. I understand what you're saying,however... But I've seen plenty of yards that have someone hired to maintain (landscape around all buildings, freshly mowed and striped, even maybe smoothing the gravel in the yard... means nothing about what's happening or not happening in the shop. | |
