Saskatchewan, big whitetail country!!! | I like to drive out to the farm, and if the piece is what was stated over the phone, and a few items like, "the tires are not great, a particular chain is needing replaced, " etc., I appreciate upfront honesty. As far as yard appearances, it matters I suppose in some cases, but some of the most immaculate yards are operated by men who have no clue about mechanics. I have several of these neighbors. Neighbors with old money, and lots of "stuff" sheds, new machinery etc. But these guys do not necessarily know a dang thing about the mechanics of what they are selling. I like just talking with the guys while I snoop over the machine. Usually this gives one a good idea about trustworthiness, knowledge etc.
I know a couple guys conversely, who have a poorer looking yard and general home appearance, but are whizzes at machanic work.
A scarce relation IMO... |
