I like to buy things that I know the history of their maintenence and repairs. When I sell something, I give the same information about what I have. You can usually tell by talking to someone if they are being honest in representing something. When I sell something I have 2 prices in mind, what I would like to get and what I will take. I price things honestly and will lower the price depending on how much interest or lack of I received after advertising it. Most people like to get a little off the original price, makes them feel that they have gotten a good deal. If I am buying something and feel it is priced fairly, I don't haggle on it. I also always make up a standard bill of sale with the details of the transaction for myself and the buyer. Everything is sold "as is".
