Subject: Re: tube heaters for shop???

Chillicothe, Missouri
We installed two of the heaters in our farm shop, and LOVE THEM!!!
We have the brand 're-verberay" SP?? ours are a two stage burnner system, low is for 3 degree, that maintains the temp, then the second stage for over three degrees change in tempature.
Also, what ever brand you choose, or consider, Make sure the reflector behind the heater is Polished Stainless Steel. Some just use a brush finish, and the company tested, and they were able to get efficency up over 90%! The brush finish reflectors are Not as Efficient!!

We have a 50X60 Shop with 15 foot side wall, an we notmally keep the temp in the 50's in the evenings and furing the week as we all work off the farm. but if planning to work in the shop, we will set the temp up when we pull up to the farm, and it will be almost completely warmed by the time we return from changing clothes.

Our Shop is Well, Well Insulated, thing R35 in the ceiling, and 25-30 in the walls. And I do not believe we have burnt over 1000 gal of propane. And we Normally Work in jeans and short sleve T-shirts!

If we were building another shop on our farm, I am certain that we would have this heat in it as well !!
