If May reads this would love to see/have a chart/s on what happen when the CBOT was close for 2-3 days in January of 1980 !!!!!!!

Clay "The cause of the 80's farm crisis was artificially overinflated land values, and people (bankers and farmers) eager to enter transactions based upon assumptions that were unsustainable"

Those assumptions in my area were $6 wheat............ I quota from 2 older retired farmer friends,,, "The experts told us were we gonna have $6 forever" and "Yeah and some of us spent money like we were gonna have $6 wheat forever"

Those assumptions that were unsustainable the 70's,,, I'm sure $6 wheat penciled out pretty well at the time....... Are those the same assumption of today ??? $6-8 corn is that sustainable ??? 6-8 dollar corn pencils pretty well today too. So is it different this time ???
