Easier to plant it with a vacuum planter if you want a low rate. Have done it once each way. I believe I ended up covering about 25% more acres than I planned by using the chart in the 1560 drill. It is the same with everything I plant with it though.

Several people recommended setting the seed cup door in the second notch instead of the top one. Hit a lot closer to the chart that way.

Lots of difference in seeds per pound with milo, so you need to adjust for that.

Worst thing I ever tried to plant with it was 4 # of pearl millet. It seems to about stop if you set it too low.
