South central, Nebraska | If you have a desktop computer with an open expansion slot, you should be able to find a reader for about $30. stand alone readers are way too expensive.
The monitor will record data just the same as a new one. User friendly is better with later models but data is the same.
SRAM cards can be challenging. I think a 4MB card is max that can be used in the 2000 monitor. If I remember right, there my be different types of SRAM cards but not sure if it was voltage or something else?
