There is a guy paying 4 1/8 telling a guy paying 2 1/2 to never do a variable,,, hilarious !!! The saver on the variable rate that he is probably not aware of in the midst of telling a story of doubleing payments is,,, generally speaking of the variables, they have a 1 point cap per year, no more than a 1 point increase or decrease each year...... They can be good, and you can always change out for little or nothing...
