We bought a Trioliet Vertical TMR to make feeding easier vs the stationary horizontal mixer we have.  We have always put hay through the mixer for the milk cows but now with the vertical mixer it would be easy to process the hay for the young heifers.  My question being then, for such young stock will I see a difference in profitability feeding processed vs non-processed hay to the young calves.
