Eastern Nebraska | My daughter is going into her 3rd year in the Air Force. It was a little rough in Basic training and they tech school was hard... She tested at the very top on her ASVAB and so she qualified for about any job she wanted. She went to tech school and became and Air Field Systems Engineer.... She is going to college while she is in the Air Force... She will stay in until she gets done with college... They get a nice room to stay in... three meals a day .. paid time off... 11 holidays a year.. and yes they may have to go to war.... It is not totally a free ride but what is.... It has been good for my daughter and one of the best moves she has made... Email works if you have any questions.... I think if she goes that route for her education she will not regret it... Check into the Air Force Academy also and see if she qualifies for that... Good Luck.... | |
