Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot
That Patriot P30 is what I have. I don't think it was $160 though. Might shop around. It would run for over a week on a regular Optima battery I stole out of my baler since we aren't using it, and rotated it with an old battery I had that wouldn't start my 4430 anymore. Just kept one at home on the charger. I finally bought a little solar charger, not nearly that big for $30. Seemed to always have 12 v if I checked. I don't think those chargers use much if nothing is grounding the fence out. Those chargers are plenty hot. Be nice to mount it all in one of those little plastic battery boxes or a big toolbox, I put the charger in an old plastic box to keep it dry. We don't use them year round, just when grazing stubble in the fall. Should be plenty for miles of fence.
