There's a fencing business on the north side of I94 between Fargo and Bismarck. I'm looking for some real good treated posts, preferably square and 2x6 treated, 16- to 20-ft. Western MN.
Another considerations - If you specify treated post / lumber that is used for basement foundation walls - the treatment is much heavier and penitrates into the lumber/post more. Menards can order it as most lumber yards. It's better quality lumber/post material used for basement foundations and it's not "wet" from the treatment like regular treated lumber / posts.
Another option is to use some black foundation coating and paint on your posts. That stuff is way better then the cheap treated lumber / posts. |
