we'll see more and more types of these "twinkie" food issues.

Keep in mind packaging and sales costs are the bulk of ALL costs in most foods.
( the food product itself and labor are generally real cheap cost input items ).

I have no clue what twinkies did cost at convenience stores.
Bet that if they were $1 or $2, raising the price 50 cents might increase total sales rather than less sales ( just never know 4 sure until one tries that ).

ya get what ya pay for, and if they cannot pay the help they ain't gonna get twinkies ( or so it appears )

Also in the screwed up, basically non taxed usa business and corporate diametric, thee most profitable accounting move is likely the bk they filed ( not an operating company ).
