Subject: Fact check tells a different story

Red River Valley
they like to run with the $70.00 per hour plus figure but that is only done by spreading the cost of retirement plans across current workers

http://factcheck.org/2008/12/auto-worker-salaries/

and here is a little more reading in effect the problem is that the auto Industry never funded the retirement programs as they should have and now must take it out of current operating expenses.

http://www.ehow.com/info_7757401_average-salary-union-auto-worker.h...

of course had they funded the retirement plans that they agreed to fund then the upper managment would not have been able to give themselves the hudge bonuses they got back in the day.

The real cost for an employee looks to be about $28.45 per hour in pay and about $10.00 per hour in benefitt's I guess that is just way over paid LOL

looks like they get about $80,000.00 per year or about what the government pays in Insurance premium for a 3000 acre corn /bean farmer with a 2/3 corn 1/3 bean rotation
