yes I agree that I too have been hearing for 30 years that corporate farming is going to take over but it hasnt. I saw an article a couple days ago that compared cost per bu between different size farms and the largest was not the least cost per bu. Management and yields were the largest reasons why. It seems as of today that large farms have outgrown their management ability for a number of reasons and it appeared that the largest farms did not have as high of yields as smaller farmers at this time. I just think that going forward things will swing toward the largest producers and grain production will go the way of livestock and small town mainstreet.
