Southern Idaho-onion country
for home use I would suggest you your local Cabellas or Sportsmans warehouse type store. Oregon used to have GI Joes but I think they folded. Anyway I cook extensively using "Dutch" ovens and I highly Recommend getting one with a ring around the edge for placing coals on the lid because you will likely end up cooking with it more than you initially think and that type are much more versatile. Another thing I would suggest is purchasing an aluminum one rather than cast iron, they are SO much easier to take care of particularly when you consider your humid climate. Many will argue and that is fine but I cook around 120 meals a year for groups of approximately 30 and aluminum works there just as well as it does at home. Most of all ENJOY it I love cooking that way.
