central - east central Minnesota -

Ed Winkle - 11/18/2012 19:00 Love all 3 but I sure would recommend Hawaii. I would go back next month if I could. Cruising can be pretty inexpensive unless you get a deal on a place in Hawaii which you probably won't. Looked hard at Texas this winter but NZ and Australia won out. Can't spend a lot of days away, probably Gulf Coast. Ed

Keep on fighting and getting better !
Hawaii would be nice, buy you should figure at least 10 - 14 days. You loose a day each way traveling/flying, so don't count them as part of your vacation.
Hawaii can be reasonable in the Waikikii Beach area . . .  rent a car from one of the hotels, when you want "out" and then head to the north shore. You don't need a car around Waikikii and it's nice to get away from the "beach" and people. It's quit the experence.
Oahu is the least expensive to fly into and stay on . .. .
If you watch, you may get bargins on the other islands for air far and hotel/car.
If the winter stays mild, Phenoix or Florida could be a quick good time ..  .. Maybe Disney in florida ?
