Kind of the same way on our farm. Never really tried no-till corn, but we do no-till most of our beans with no yield drag that we can see. We usually spread starter, chisel or v-rip then run anhydrous whenever we get our good window. Seems like the NH3 seals better in worked ground IMO. I've often wanted to not chisel and try a VT machine on our corn ground instead or spend some money on our planter and no-till the corn. The no-till idea would be more in reach for us as we already have a good sprayer, and would mainly have to get the planter working good for no-till corn. Plus the VT machines are very pricey.
