S.E. Iowa | Chad H that is exactly what I am saying, They might have bigger rippers, I am not sure. As far as tillage, I use a moldboard plow. All my land is covered now, tied down by rye, clover and wheat. I got nothing against someone farming alot of acres, I got alot against soil washing down the creek. As a general rule around here, the wider the field cultivator the more soil washes away, and I am almost radical in my thinking but I think they should be jailed! I think in the future farmers will be regulated by big brother in this if we dont do it before ourselves. They {liberals} are in power and I dont think they are going away, In the words of Lyndon Johnson, the best fertilizer is its owners feet. | |
