A 12" Houge composite stock set installed on the same gun would make it a much better tool for home defense. Overall length of this one is 36" and it is only 6 1/2" longer than the pistol grip model above.

Hit this link if you want to learn more. The pistol grip model in the original post is referred to as "PGO" on the website. Stands for "pistol grip only". If you dig into the information a little bit you will soon find out the experts are not very fond of PGO shotguns. Really aren't good for much other than the gee whiz cool factor.
