north west arkansas | I was always told that a hog's stomach could extract more nutrients out of the corn than a cow could. As far as the mineral goes our ground around here is usually poor and I feel alot of times a mineral program will pay. I have no proof , but it seems like the cattle around here without mineral dont do nearly as well and have alot of health issues. I should add at times my cattle wont touch mineral and other times they inhale it.
