Picture from today. I realize now that it's hard to see the green in the picture, but the stand doesn't look terrible for the area. I should have taken a wider shot as well. The picture looks like there are some skips, but it's just the way I took the picture. We got lucky on a couple precipitation events that most of the county missed. We still delayed planting a week to try to get some moisture. Note that our planting rate around her is 60lbs/ac for dryland. I'm sure it looks thin to those who get more annual rainfall.
