Subject: Fertilizing Soybeans

S IL
In a Corn-Soybean rotation, dad has always fertilized the corn but not soybeans believing they will utilize the leftover the following season after corn. Is there good evidence showing there is enough of a soybean yield boost to pay for the extra fertilizer application cost and any additional hassle? Does conventional, minimal, or no-till make a difference? Curious your thoughts.
