If you have air in the parlor for gates etc, use air. If you have an old hydraulic cylinder around, you can use that or purchase one. Can use a system of cables and pullies or levers and links to multiply the motion of the cylinder if need be. Needs to be a double acting cylinder and have a 4 way valve to control it.
