We have a BTO default on some contracts a few years ago, he contracted a large number of bushels (1 million dollars of sales) and he was bragging he just took the grain to another elevator and sold it. The grain company holding the contract as of today still has not done anything. It seems Cargill would have lawyers on duty to go after this BTO. We have asked our Cargill buyer why they have never gone after him. They said it all takes time, but yet this BTO still is selling soybeans to the Cargill plant he just blackballed at the Cargill corn elevator. It seems this BTO would be blackballed at all cargill elevators.
