Vt tools work well for me because they don't clod the soil as much as a disc. I had a disk, traded it for a vt tool, traded it for a vt/disc hybrid. All I know is that if I run something through my ground to loosen it up a little I get better crops. That's all that matters to me. A disc causes clods in my soils, requiring another pass or 2, these fancy vt devices do not. That's is all that matters to me.
