Subject: RE: Hagie STS10 or STS12 review

Jersey Shore, PA
On 2nd season with an sts10. Been good for us so far. Seems to be well built. Our boom is a 90' and has held up well so far. We did have a motor failure right after we got it, but Hagie put a new one in it at no cost to me. Said that was very unusual for a 2000 hr machine and likely resulted from previous owner neglect. Otherwise just some minor stuff. Their starter system always seems to give us fits....solenoid, starter, etc.

At 5000 hrs I would take a good look at everything. If it was well cared for it may be fine.

Hagie parts guys have been good to deal with too.

I'd have a hard time going back to a rear mount boom.
