Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | In regard to question 2, the Coverage map can be setup to start/stop in a variety of ways.
1) Manually by using the button.
2) By steering as you have noticed.
3) By an external switch - I believe this is what you are interested in. This requires a cable that is sometimes referred to an an "all port" cable. This cable has extra connectors on it to do several other things.
An external switch can be connected to one of those connectors. This can be a simple toggle switch which will control the Coverage Map. An implement switch would work as well.
If you would like to have this mapping Start/stop based on another electrical device (Sprayer control etc.), this is possible too but should be done with a relay.
Another connector is for Simulated Radar Out. This can be used for a speed input to other devices such as Sprayer controllers or Planter monitors. An adapter cable is needed to plug into the all port cable to allow that branch to mate up with the other device.
GPS out is also available for getting GPS to other devices.
