I am paying all the inputs and LL gets 33% of the gross. He is hinting around about doing a 50/50 deal but i get to pay all the inputs. Think i may have to draw the line there.
I used to do a 33% crop share to LL and I covered all the expenses. In 2005 I told him we needed to switch something. I offered 70/30 with me paying all expenses, or 50/50 split crop and expenses equally, (or a new tenant, but I didn't explicitly state that;) He went with 50/50. I think it's worked well given the gyrations in income and expense since then. |
