I really don't give a ffa what ag trader has to say. He can trade the rest of my life, I have bushels of actual grain in my bins to deliver. That's what I am concerned about, there will be a point not all that far away that someone will like to have those bushels in their physical hands. That I will bet alot of money on. They will pay me when I would like to deliver, not when they want to steal it.
+1, well said.
The emphasis is that we have to sell these beans now or something?
Have delivered forward sales during the run-up for fall cash, storing some more till spring, (forward sold) for spring cash. About a 1/3 left unpriced (till I knew what I had...) and will sell when the market improves!
Bins are locked till spring, or until want to sell! I try never to sell into a dropping market, especially with a drop so fast!
Can't see why I have to sell unpriced bushels now; just put into storage?
