S.E. Iowa | Look at what case or cat says on welding on their equiptment, usually 7018 or equivalent. I have had to reweld so many factory welds that was mig welded, they are only good for thin stuff or very clean good conditions welding. If you want something that will go out of position in tough conditions arc welding is the only way to go. Welding is like anything else if you dont do a good job chances are it will fail. I got my Dialarc when I was a junior in high school over 30 years ago totally trouble free except for lead ends. | |
