What are the P1 and P2 levels and CEC on your soil tests? Over here in the blackland clay soils I think you just about have to band the phosphate to get to 60+bpa. On the loamy or sandy loam soils band or broadcast seems equal. Dry or liquid shouldn't matter.

Definitely split apply N, 20-30 in the fall rest in Feb when forecast looks promising. Might need a shot in early Jan if its not tillering enough. Putting out 120# nitrogen in the fall in Texas is a heck of a gamble unless you know you're going to graze it. Even then its a gamble, if it doesn't rain all that N will just sit there at best and be lost to volatilization at worst.

I like 100# 10-34-0 with the drill so 10#N there and residual usually runs 10-25#acre for about 25#N in the fall. Potash/amm nitrate if its getting grazed. Then 75-125# UAN in mid Feb depending on moisture levels and potential.

If you need zinc, manganese, or copper it could be spread with the dry in the sulfate form, put in the 10-34-0 if its a chelate or you can dissolve it and put it on with the UAN.
