Geneva, Ohio | Purchased a new farm king auger this fall and have had issues binding up and shearing bolts. The problem is in the swing away portion where the corn transitions from the hopper to the feed auger if i feed corn too fast it binds and there goes the shear pins. Farm king gave me a sprocket to slow down the entire feed hopper and it still does it. I have a well worn hutchison auger same size and i can run the pigeon hole half open in comparison to a quarter with this new one. The tube should be polished 25000 bushels through it already. I think i should i be able to bury the augers in with corn since i could with the old hutchison. | |
