In my part of the country beans are the profit. Corn will lose me money more years than not. I started pushing more beans a few years ago and now I have a heck of a mess with waterhemp that nothing seems to kill.

Jimsonweed: I have grown 160+ bu corn on several occassions here but most years are tooooo hot and dry for that to happen. Averaged 47 bu this year and less than that last year with 24-26000 pop.
