Subject: RE: corn on corn yield drag? amazing thread!

Alton, Ia
Well, I've got something on and it ain't blinders. Glasses that let me read yield reports for THIS year, the driest year in 50 here, and see two fields where I planted the same hybrid both COB and COC. One, COB beat COC by .3 bpa, the other COC won by .1. Well within the measurement error of any yield monitor.

I had four other areas very close to each other, 2 COB, 2COC, the averages were within a bushel or two. Similar hybrids, but not the same.
