Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463
On any tractor -
-Row crop two wheel drive.

-Row crop with MFWD.

-Bend in the Middle on tires or a Quad Trak.

-Two track machine.

They will all turn much better under load on a swinging drawbar.

Years ago before wide use of hydraulics. Disks, harrows, spring tooths, all were turned while still in the ground.
Also most grassed waterways were not crossed. Turn around and go back. Then cross over and work the other side.

Ever notice the rollers on drawbars of IHC model M tractors, many others from 50 years ago?
A roller would swing better and not wear as bad.

I have pulled my disk chisel and disk ripper with a un-pinned drawbar as long as I can remember.
Also a swinger if disking stalks in the fall.
Later disking or a field cultivator I run with the drawbar pinned.
