Ive had a 2011 GMC all last winter never had a problem with def. i get about 6000 mi to a tank of def so storing the 5 galons it takes evry 6000 mi is not a real problem All new semi tractors are using def so its here to stay and i dont think the disel engine is in any real threat of extinction in the distant future.
