The white meter doesn't like flat seed and there is 3corn plates if you don't have the right one for your seed performance will suffer. Also if you like to split the planter with different seed chances are good you won't be able to get the air psi set right for both. With seed it likes and air psi set right it can do a very good job. Little picky IMHO
