Ive got a dumb question. Not to derail a thread but in our area corn is just starting to be planted a little at a time. How would a guy go about hooking up with a seed company to start your own brand of seed? In our area if a guy could corner the market and have about 4/5 good short day corn varieties you will eventually have a ton of business. What i mean as short day varities in our area we need 2000gdu varieties or less more like 1950 to be safe, so we are looking at sub 80 day corn. just a dumb thought that was going around in my head.
