Saronville NE | IF no rain, they will be cheaper then they are now IMO, but if we get rain and have grass, they will be crazy.
We pregged cows yesterday and Vet and I were talking about cow prices, we culled HARD, anything old, slightest bad bag, temperment promblem they all are hitting the road the end of the week, he says same as me, dump the old ones now, and if no rain will be buying younger cows or pairs for the same money next spring as old cows are bringing now. I know locally unless real young and fancy cows, they cant even get a bid on cows, they just get weighed up. Nobodys got grass, and feed is high, why would you want some old cows around or not top producing cows? | |
