Alton, Ia | Without knowing a more precise location, and I'm not asking you to share it, from what I've heard from several credible sources, is that the farther north you go in Sioux, the yields got much better. I've heard lots of 200+ north of HWY 18. Some 230's.... whole field averages....
A friend of mine in "east central" Sioux was shocked by my yields, or lack of. But from what I've heard, we are very much in line for this neighborhood. It just plain did not rain here. I know every farmer says it never does, but this year.......
