Subject: output gps from raven cruizer?

I have farmworks mobile on a laptop that I am wanting to use for soil sampling.
Can I get the GPS signal out of my cruizer and into the laptop easily? The laptop has a serial port.
If not what are some other options for getting GPS signal?
