west central MN

Price corn in gold or oil and it doesn't look so rosy, but price today's corn in houses or pickups and it looks pretty good. In 1985 it took me about 7500 bu of corn to buy a pickup and today it would take me about 5000 bu to buy the same 1/2 ton 4x4. My son bought a house that would of taken 125,000 bu of corn to buy in 2004 when it was new and last year he bought it with about 20,000 bu worth of corn. I can live without gold but I do need a house to live in so I am not to worried about the price of gold.
