South Texas
I'm gonna disagree - sort of... we run a 7455 and a 7460. Both under 2000 hours. Maybe its a rough ground thing, but how much faster do you want to go than 5.5 or so? Too much faster, and the pivot ruts and cracked ground could sure tear up your heads. I really can't find a productivity difference between them that's worth mentioning? However, the 7460 has a much nicer cab for sure. That's worth quite a bit at the end of the day. On the other hand, the 7455 seems to run cooler (7460 must kill and clean screens several times a day = aggravating). Keep in mind, down here, humidity is our limiter, not yield. Done plenty of 2.5 bale cotton with both machines, but 1 bale is much more common. We can't run after dark down here b/c of moisture, and believe me, i can choke them both quite equally...

Huge price difference between the two, and as somebody else said, either will be a HUGE step from a 484. You'll love either machine...
