Ohio | Your 9600 has a cylinder that is the same width as the feeder house unlike a rotary where the feeder house is 20 inches wider than the rotor. It makes sense on a conventional to take them off and use the full width of the feeder house. To the OP you aren't going to gain anything by using the whole feeder house when you end up having to shove a 55 inch wide blanket of grain into a 30 inch hole. All it does is create a bottle neck at the transition from feeder house to rotor. | |
