N.E. MO | I remember one spring, as a kid in IL, I was knocking down some ground with a field cultivator that had been ripped in the fall. The temp dropped quickly and it snowed really hard for a while. I made two or three more rounds before calling it quits. A few weeks later, when the corn came up, you could see that the area I had worked in the snow looked quite a bit greener and stood out for quite a while. No idea if yield was affected either positively or negatively in this area. | |
