Once it is below 20 for several hours, I start to wonder. At 10 degrees, I'll see problems. So somewhere btween 20 and 10F.
The first diesel tractor we got, I didn't know there were gelling problems, I never paid attention. I always plugged it in the few times I used it in winter, and just had untreated #2 in it. Worked fine. But - the extrenal heater on it was _directly_ below the fuel filter, and so as I heated the tractor, I heated the fuel filter. Was too dumb to know better, and worked fine.
