1 cup of muriatic acid and the rest of the pot water will clean it out real good, use 4 or 5 good water pots after. Used to use sparkel toilet boil cleaner but couldn't find it anymore, but it was muriatic acid anyway. Muriatic acid is used for hottubs and swimming pools, we buy it at our lumber yard
